      Is This Close to WILD?

Last night before bed I tried to try to do an WILD for my first time. Yeah I know it's harder to do it before bed but I think I was pretty close. The reason for me saying this is because when I was WILDing after 10min my eyes started to move rapidly just like in REM. My eyes would go into and out of this phase lasting about 10seconds each. But the last phase (50 seconds later) my eyes just stopped. Then I saw a barely saw a Lions head (not in color) coming towards me. After that it just vanished and was gone. I gave up on the WILD. Altogether it took 15minutes. I was wondering if I was close at all. Read on for my Morning attempt at 6:00AM. I went to bed at 1:00.

This morning I woke to an alarm at 6:00 AM. I tried to do the same technique as I did above but after a hour of nothing not even eye movement only numbness I quit and went to bed.

That is pretty close. You should try imagining yourself floating or the area around you. Then they might naturally form.

I have the same problem, except for the eyes moving. I lay in sleep paralysis for what feels like forever with no results.

Hm. Sounds as if you briefly flickered into REM, though disassociated enough from the experience to understand what was going on. I would continue if I were you. Sounds as though you are making progress.
