      WILD help!

So, I decided to attempt my first WILD last night, and in about 10 minutes of seriously attempting it (I kept moving before) I reached the part where you have an almost uncontrollable urge to move, but it got stuck there for like 4 minutes. I kept moving slightly (Like a twitch here and there because the urge was so strong) but my body kept urging me to move, then it started to slowly fade and I was losing some feeling in my limbs, so I thought I had entered sleep paralysis, so I tried moving my fingers a little bit but I could still do that... did I fail the test of not moving around or what do I do when it comes to the body test and the body test doesn't stop quickly? Also, I did this right whenever I was going to bed, I didn't do the WBTB that everyone here seems to do... so is the WILD technique different if you are just going to bed instead of doing WBTB?

Well you're not supposed to move and it'll eventually trigger it and, to me, it makes more sense to combine both WBTB and WILD cause it's easier and u enter REM right away, however I never fully understood doing a WILD after a long day cause it'll take an average of 90 mins to reach REM and you won't stay still for 90 mins. IF some1 cared to explain

Last night I tried a wild before going to bed. So at first, everything was normal. I didn't hear buzzing or anything. Then my limbs felt really heavy and it felt like I couldn't move them. I counted up to 450 and then stopped. So it would probably be best to do it after 5-6 hours of sleep like in the WBTB technique.

I had my alarm clock set at 5, but the DAMNED thing didn't go off. oh well.
