Should'nt I be getting some Results by now

I have been trying WILDS and WBTB for maybe 3 weeks now and I dont think I have made very much progress. I have some questions: Do some people not get the roll over siginal? Does the roll over siginal only work if you are doing your WILDs perfectly? It seems like of all the things I have read this is the first sign that you are getting close to SP. Even though I have tried many different ways of doing this I always face similar results to the people who say they try and stay alert for a while then they can fall asleep or they fail and drift into sleep too soon. Are there any factors that can make you unable to get a WILD even if you are doing the right things such as sleep position? Finally are there any extreem ways of trying to do a wild such as sleep deprivation or lying still focused all night? Even if you dont have the answers thanks for reading my post, I appreciate the help.

My question to you is: When you attempt your WILD's, in your mind, are you WILDing, or going to sleep? That may be worded weird so I will say this.

-When you attempt a WILD, the worst thing you can do is to wait for signals of SP or HI or any of that stuff.
-Everything should be just as it is when you regularly go to sleep, BUT with a low level of awareness/consciousness.
-Every time you think about, oh I wander if that was a sign of SP, or hmm I wander how much longer this might take... All those kinds of thoughts reset you back to nothing.

I try and go to sleep then I usually just end up falling asleep but what do you think of to create a low level of awareness? I have tried using ancors, such as ear plugs, but if I try just thinking about my ancor I cant fall asleep.

Yah, this is the hardest part in learning to WILD in my opinion ( finding the right level of awareness but not to much to keep yourself awake.)

Have you read Mzzks wild guide?

How many WILDs have you had? What's your success rate?

Also, I do agree that the level of awareness is a factor. My main goal is to decrease my awareness.

The more tired you are, the better chance you have of WILDing. Your proximity to a REM period also counts.

So when you say decrease your level of awareness do you decrease it to a point where you can WILD, is there sort of a tipping point and if there is; once you reach it do you stay at that awareness until you get into your dream. Now I am under the conclusion that you have to train yourself to stay at this level of awareness and not fall any deeper.

All you have to do is fall asleep like normal, except maintain a very small amount of awareness. It's almost like falling asleep normally. It's best to do this when you wake up really tired, say in the middle of the night, so that you're already half asleep. The goal then is to stay in that state of mind by continuing to relax your body and mind, and half-drifting off. When you hit body paralysis, continue to do what you were doing before. Soon enough, you'll feel a sort of tug out of your body (at least this is what happens to me), and at that point you need to will yourself in that direction, all while maintaining your very low awareness. Then you'll enter the dream. I imagined myself in an underwater room, and it manifested.

Oh, and for me it seems like a continual decrease in awareness + deeper relaxation, but meanwhile still maintaining awareness.

Yay I did it last night some how I managede to do it. I didnt really feal myself going through all the phases, but I became alittle bit aware right before entering my dream and I kind of felt like I rolled out of bed into my room and I knew I was dreaming. Thanks for the advice you guys I looked over Mzzcks guide again and it did help alot to re read it.
