Sleeping w/ binaural beats

I'd like to sleep with theta binaural beats in, but I wouldn't hear my alarm.

(I also have this problem during naps, I use earplugs)

What should I do about this to hear my alarm to wake up and record dream recall?

Maybe, have an alarm on your Ipod touch (if you have one) and it will wake you if you have your earphones in.

I have a zune and there's no alarm on this.
