I just look up what that stood for. It is something I became quite good at in one point of my lessons.

One technique causes paralysis, that is because it uses a form of self-hypnosis. I discarded that very quickly. It was distracting and uncomfortable.

The second was simple mind control. I would simply close my eyes and visualize myself walking, and walk directly into the lucid dreamstate. You have to learn to let your body go to sleep naturally, by dissasociating any awareness of it. I learned to ignore the body and there was no paralysis at all.

You might also picture your minds eye; a beam of grey light (dreams) going into it, and it beginning to fill with grey, until your vision begins to fill with it and go into a dream scene. If you don't know- your minds eye is what you form dreams with. Close your eyes and picture a massive, soapy pair of breasts. They seem very vivid and real; yet your actual eyes are closed. This is part memory, and part minds eye. Apparently people try to 'stimulate' their minds (or third) eye to attain spirituality/lucidity. Might want to give that a try.
