      Struggling with my hypnagogia?

I'm mostly a DILD kinda guy, since it doesn't require taking naps or waking up. Every time I decide to take a WILD nap, I can get my body to be asleep, but the biggest problem comes when the hypnagogic hallucinations occur. I can hear people saying my name, and I see things sometimes, but I always forget that I'm trying to WILD, and either fall asleep, or remember that I'm trying to WILD and I snap back awake.

Any suggestions how to handle this? When I try things like counting, I can't GET to the HH, but when I kinda "let it go" I get their easily, but I always forget. Methods would be appreciated!

Practice. And possibly, choose a better time in your sleep cycle to make the attempt. When are you taking these naps?

Also, you could try something like caffeine pills or other stimulant. Then just try to take a nap without making the WILD attempt. If you're lucky, you'll already be on your way to dreamland when the stimulant kicks in, which can then snap you back to consciousness and make you lucid. I've used this method many times with ephedra.
