      What am I doing wrong?

      Hi everyone,
I've been trying to WILD for about 2 weeks now with an average of 1-2 times a day. I tried different techniques including the basic one and KingYoshi's and am still getting no results. Sometimes it takes an hour of deep relaxation before I get tired of it and look at the time, and sometimes I just fall asleep trying to WILD. I got to SP once and got extremely violent hallucinations where I saw lights flashing brutally and felt weight on my chest to where I couldn't even breathe properly. Every other time I tried I only got nothing. I lay in bed for at least 30 minutes with no HH or anything of the sort, feeling no urge to move or scratch, and overall just being relaxed. Sometimes I wait for so long that so much saliva builds up in my mouth that I can't breathe and have to swallow. Please help me and tell me what I'm doing wrong here, I even tried putting a lot less effort into it because I thought at some point that I might be trying too hard. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it for I'm currently getting very discouraged.

The most important question at this point is: When are you doing it?

At the beginning of the night, or after waking up from 4 or 5 hours of sleep?

If you're doing it at the beginning of the night, then that is what you are doing wrong.

I tried to WILD at the beginning of the night, after a night of sleep, after a few hours of sleep, as a WBTB technique, nothing did the job.

Are you doing this in the morning after a like 6 hours of sleep or durning day time naps? You should try doing a WBTB in the morning and then going back to sleep to do the WILD. Just be patient and keep trying and eventualy you will get it. The most important part of WILDing is actualy falling asleep. When you start getting SP and hallucenations and stuff you know you are very close to being in a dream so don't give up. Theres nothing wrong with swalowing, just do it naturaly and don't make a big deal about it.

I tried to WILD after 6 hours of sleep and it still doesn't work. I mean I lay still for a long time and nothing ever happens. It tooks 80 minutes once before I got tired of it. Either I fall asleep instantly or I don't ever get SP.

You need to be more relaxed. Let your thoughts drift the same way you do when you fall asleep at night normally. Let yourself drift closer to sleep. Don't try to keep yourself awake. It is better to fall asleep prematurely during your WILD than to lie there for an hour with no results.

Apart from that, just keep experimenting with your timing. Timing is crucial. Try WBTB at a few different points in your sleep cycle to see what works best for you.
