ok about 6 months ago i was laying on my couch falling asleep but i couldnt because i had to leave in under an hour and was afraid i couldnt wake up from my phone alarm so just as i felt myself slipping away i forced my eyes open and moved to wake myself up.. i felt really tired and tingly so i did it again.. after keeping myself awake 4 or 5 times i got what i can only call "stuck".. i could kinda hear a little bit of the tv, it was completely black and i couldnt move at all.. the next thing i know i give up on feeling the tingliness again and used all of my strenght to wake up.. ive had several opportunities to do this again but have been too afraid to.. at the time i had no idea people could purposely have lucid dreams

im probably wrong but is this the WILD technique.. if i would have stuck with it and not panicked would dream have started? because i was fully conscious but paralyzed..

im still gonna do all the exercise and practice other things but is this how WILD is achieved?
