Thread: I attempted the WILD, but...

Last night, I went to sleep at about 10:30 and woke up at around 4:30.
After waking up I began the WILD and tried getting into SP.
After a while, I started vibrating pretty violently so I decided to just ride it out.
Trying to stay calm, I tried thinking of where I wanted to be in my dream.
As the vibrations stopped, I tried getting into first person in my dream but I just woke up. I still felt as though I were in my room and I could still hear my fan. And that's where I performed a reality check and realized I was still awake.

Now, was that supposed to happen during SP, because it didn't really feel like I was in it. Also, how am I supposed to approach those vibrations, as I was calm the whole time but couldn't get into an LD?
