I tried Jeff777's free fall technique

It didnt work, I felt the "lead blanket" come over me,and everything, i was thinking up weird things, like I would be thinking about the terminator movie, then all of the sudden I broke out into the elmo's world song, and Im not sure if I the hypnogogic images, I kept seeing waves of green and purple, but I never got past that, I was pretty tired when I started

What time were you attempting the WILD? Right before bed or _ many hours after falling asleep?

Anyway I recommend trying to V-WILD. Visualize the dream scene you want to be in using all your senses. Stay relaxed, and let it come to you. It sounds like you were in SP and experiencing some HH which is a good thing! You're making progress. Also, once you change a technique it doesn't always work the first time. You need to keep at it and practice. Good luck!

Thanks for the amazing advice, so far I have had 4 lucid dreams and I don't think I would have gotten that much if it wasn't for supportive people like you

Just one more question; do the green and purple waves count as hypnogogic images? Or is it something else

One thing you need to remember about the WILD method, is that it's very personal. There is no 1-2-3 step method that works for every person. You need to take Jeff777's method and fine tune it for your own body. Experiment some, you will find your way

Yeah it is, HI can be anything. Flying monkeys, swirling colors (which is common), Steve Jobs, etc.
