You don't necessarily have to open your eyes to enter a dream. If you're concentrating on your body, you will almost NEVER make it into a dream, unless it's like FILD or something. For me it's the realization all senses gone-heat, texture of my bed, all that |

well sometimes. I have CRAZY ways of entering dreams, but generally you're kinda not paying attention to anything. Sometimes im about to drift off and i kinda snap out of it to see stars flying in front of my eyes. Generally the transition happens when you aren't thinking about it. (At least for me) |

freefall technique is good but.. |

Don't think about ur physical body or that ur even living on ur body. |

Assuming you're experiencing vibrations, this is a sign you've probably hit your first phase of N2 sleep. It's normal for them to subside (stop) as you pass into N3 sleep, but typically people experience a second N2 phase before REM and REM atonia sets in. |

There is one big truth about this. If you really want to experience lucid dream, you really shouldnt be concentrated on sleep paralysis itself, becouse if you percieve it it means that your attention is still oriented towards your physical body. If you want to transition into dream state, you should accept the fact that your dream body is in dreamworld, not in your bed, even though you dont feel it. You should allow yourself to move your focus into your fantasies instead of concentrating on your body getting numb. |
