I've been on this site for a few months and read lots of different guides and tips for a successful WILD. Unfortunately it's also been a few months of no success. |

I'm still trying to WILD (I've only had one), but I've realised that lying still for an hour while thinking about sleep paralysis doesn't work at all. Part of this realisation was my own discovery, part of it was because of material on this site, for example Mzzkc's 'Why You Fail At WILDs'. The idea that WILDs are about falling asleep is one that's taken a long time to sink in, for me, personally. |

My first WILD was actually my first lucid dream and ever since then, I've been having unintentional WILDs. I'm now trying to perfect my WILD and it relates a lot similar to this a link which i'll put later down in the post. My WILD (even if accidental) mostly consists of me getting up after about 5 hours sleep, getting up for x amount of time and then going back to bed. I'll then go through a relaxation process of meditation, it depends on how relaxed i'm previously from waking up. The meditation doubles as a technique- which will also be explained in the link. After that, I just try to fall asleep naturally. Do post any questions you have |
