I don't know if I'm dreaming my WILDs or not

I've been trying to WILD for about two months now. I WBTB and try, but usually end up falling asleep. I then proceed to have an insane jumble of dreams with varying degrees of lucidity. The problem is that in my dreams, I average about four false awakenings. I'll be dreaming, then wake up and start doing something else, then wake up, then wake up, etc. Sometimes I experience a WILD, but I have no idea if I'm dreaming it or not. I'll wake up, not know if I'm dreaming, and try to WILD and feel vibrations and hear whispers and other standard WILD sensations. But I don't know how to tell if I'm actually awake and WILDing, DEILDing, or some weird inception version of DILD. My dreams are a confusing mix of consciousness.

My first WILD was like that, but I do think I was actually WILDing for real, it was just SO distinct and all my later WILDs felt the same as that first one.
One way to avoid being fooled by False Awakenings is to do a reality check each and every time you open your eyes from a period of slumber. I do that and it's allowed me a few Lucids

Remember to always do a reality check! You can avoid this situation if you get used to constantly doing reality checks.

Yeah, Telinir's right! You should reality after each WILD attempt and every time you wake up. If you will, even every time you get out of bed
