The other night I was WILD'ing I decided to make it my primary priority to fall asleep. (I kept a small amount of attention to my ticking clock as an anchor). I would get to the part where my heart beats loud... then I'd have a dream and wake up 5 minutes later going WTF just happened? (Except I did so while being very relaxed). After about 10 minutes I felt the same sensation... and had another dream. This happened 3 times in about 2 hours and in the last attempt I completely fell asleep. |

Well... I wanted to sleep but I think I went too far. I always either fall asleep or have to stay awake for 3 hours. (Not fun |

What I do is I visualize a dream scene. When I am fully relaxed I just visualize something like me walking on a sandy beach or climbing a mountain. This visualization should be somewhat like a day dream, you have the slightest bit of awareness but you know whats going on. The visualization shouldn't be something your concentrating to hard on. Remember, your trying to fall asleep so you can have a lucid dream and concentrating to hard will keep your mind active thus now allowing you too fall asleep. So try to let your visualization flow naturally like a dream would. You might also experience SP symptoms while visualizing but just let it flow by and don't concentrate to much on that. |
