      Question my wild attempts, help?

I've recently tried to wild again . And before when I did try it, my eyes would flick about and my heart would beat really fast, waking me up. This time, I got to the point where I was super relaxed and out of nowhere I got that scared feeling you'd get if you were falling. My eyes and heart did the same thing as before, but more mild, and my stomach clenched up like I was really afraid.. I don't think I have ever reached sp. Is this just how my transition is? and any tips on making it easier on me? And if it isn't sp, then other explanations are welcome

      Much appreciated!

Did the whole thing happen in a split second? If so, it was a hypagogic jerk - they happen sometimes when you become extremely relaxed, almost on the verge of falling asleep. They're often accompanied by a very sudden falling sensation, almost as if you tripped within an instant, and then a jolt. Often they wake you right up.

If it was just a gradual falling sensation, then that definitely sounds like the onset of SP, especially if it was accompanied by the REM (rapid eye movement) and fast heartbeat.

      No problem!

They're not supposed to happen during SP, but as for normally falling asleep, they aren't uncommon - I get them from time to time. It was probably just bad luck that you happened to get one when you did, trying to reach SP and all.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
