Whenever I'm anywhere other than a bed, hypnagogic imagery comes to me easily. I've noticed this in the car when I'm sleeping during a car ride. It happens to me almost every day when I get into a class where the lights are out and I have a boring lecture. Once I hit the desk, I'm in a half-sleep state where I'm almost totally unable to keep my eyes open. I finally succumb and let myself fall asleep (sort of) and I can hear people around me but I am fully engrossed in my hypnogogia.
I'm curious as to how I can transfer that to when I'm waking up at 4:30 in the morning trying to WILD. Should I sleep awkwardly?
I've been trying to WILD for at least a week and a half. I've fallen asleep every time, unfortunately. I've been in sleep paralysis twice in my entire life and they have both been a result of being pulled out of an LD and waking up. I am familiar with the overwhelming buzzing in the back of my brain (where it occurs for me, at least) and a conscious awareness of what is outside of me, just an inability to interact with it.
I'm pretty lost here :\
