Question Need explanation! [WILD attempt failed]

Hi there DV Community! I've read KingYoshi's DILD tutorial and WILD Tutorial. Indeed, they helped me a lot. But I would like to share with you guys my WILD experience before reading KingYoshi's WILD tutorial.
      I had a 11ish hours sleep.
Then I decided I'd try WILD technique.
I went on my sofa and took one and only position.
After 5 minutes, I couldn't feel my hands neither my feet.
I kept the position for another 10 minutes.
Then, I thought I was in SP ( Thats what I need to know )
My heart started beating so fast, like really really fast.
and I started to breath heavily.
Then my brother came and non-purposely corrupted my WILD session.

My question would be : Is it normal that my heart started beating really fast and I started to breathing heavily when I thought I was in SP phase ?

Was I really in SP phase ?

P.S : I was thinking all the way that I would be in a Lucid dream in not so long.
Is it a good technique to think that..?

It was my first time attempting WILD!

Thank you in advance DreamViews members
Hope you guys will have a great day & of course, sweet dreams

Depends, did anything make you think you were in SP besides that? A good indicator is hallucinations such as voices, odd feelings or seeing things. Or vibrations around body.
      Attempting WILD: 0

Have achieved SP with mild HI previously, haven't attempted much in the past.

I had a wave of vibration in all my body, my eye was blinking alone, but no hallucinations at all.

I've heard many people say that the fast heart beat may actually be a hallucination that comes from SP. As far as your technique, anything that keeps your mind aware and brings attention away from your physical body can work. Seems like you got really close for your first attempt!
