Got my first tase of lucidity. Ever. I guess it was with WILD, but it might have been DILD. Anyway, it was about 11, just finished watching Band of Brothers, and attempted to WILD. I was lying on my back for about 30 min, then I switched to my side. I'm pretty sure I lost consciousness, because I did not notice a transition. I showed up in a car with my dad driving into our development. He had a hard stop because he almost ran a stop sign. The sign was never there before, and I started to question it. Then my dad got out and walked into pitch darkness. It was then I realized it was a dream. I simply said "what the fuck" but then I felt pressure on the side of my face. I only just realized that it was because my face was on the pillow. Then I woke up. I couldn't get back to sleep because I couldn't stop smiling. I think I got past my mental barrier now

Congratz bro! You attempted it how long after you sleep? Did it feel realistic?

Well, I took a nap in the afternoon for about 45 min, then started the WILD at 11. I think I'm getting down my REM cycle finally, cause I woke up bout 12:15. And it sEemed totally real before I noticed things were a bit funky.
