      The P in SP

      Basically here's the problem

When I attempt to enter SP, I reach every symptom but one. I feel:

      -The lead blanket effect
      -Hallucinations
      -Flashes/Bangs/Whispering
      -Surges and prickling
      -Lethargy
      -Dream Scenes forming
      -loss of feeling in limbs

However, I know that I am not truly paralysed. I know that if I try hard enough, I can move. I think this is why I cannot truly enter the dream scenes that I form. The attempt always ends up with me eventually succumbing to growing urges that build up in my arms to make me move.

      A few questions:

Should I roll over before I go into sleep paralysis? I've heard this before but I fear that moving will undo my work

How close am I to sleep paralysis?

If I try too hard to keep my mind awake, can this hinder my attempts at entering SP?

      Thanks for any help

SP doesn't always mean that you absolutely can't move. All of those symptoms you describing ARE SP. And your goal is not to get into SP, but to have a lucid dream. And that's what 'dream scenes forming' from your list is. So just keep watching the dream scenes, pick a spot in one of them and 'wish to be there'. You will be transported inside the dream and there you are. Happy dreams

      I strongly disagree.

tl;dr What you're experiencing is NREM sleep.

You'll know sleep paralysis if you experience it. Luckily, doing so isn't necessary (or even typical) when WILDing.
