      Afternoon nap WILD?

Is it possible to have a successful wild on the afternoon?

And if it is, are there any different techniques to make it work?

I'm asking this because the only LDs I've ever had happened during afternoon naps.
They were DILDs, but they were kind of random, so i've decided to try wilding.

Again, are there any special tricks to make WILD easier in the afternoon, if it is possible at all?

P.s: before you suggest me to WBTB, know that I CAN'T do them at the moment because of my current sleep schedule and sadly for a while I can't adjust it :S

Yes, from what i've read it's actually recommended. As long as you're tired and able to sleep, you should be good to go. I've heard from lots of people that they are more prone to SP during afternoon naps. Unfortunately I can't verify that, due to my sleeping habits.

Yes apparently many people use afternoon nap time for WILD. Personally I don't often get sleepy enough to do it, but I've definitely experienced hypnagogia in the afternoon. Technique is exactly the same as in the morning. One thing is to make sure you don't get interrupted by noises or other people, because once you're woken up it's very hard to get back asleep (in the afternoon).

Also, with regards to WBTB, people put WAY too much emphasis on it. It's really only for really deep sleepers that can't just wake themselves up lying in bed.

It's possible =) Your REM-stages are actually longer the more you sleep. And if you wake up 10:00, get up eat breakfast, brush your teeth and then go back to bed and take a nap, that's basically a WBTB.

      Good luck =)
