      Why bother? Try this

      LAW

      Before your attempt:

      MINDSET (These must stick in your head, as you can't think during WILD)

      * I can't move during my attempt.
      * I can't think during my attempt.
      * I can't quit my attempt.

      BEDTIME (Or wherever you fall asleep)

      * Eyes Closed
      * Relax fully
      * MINDSET ON! (Flip the switch in your mind, it stays ON)
      * Go to sleep
      * Just Watch

      That's it. The simplest WILD-guide I've made, perfect for training

      Qustions & Answers

      Q1: So, why the anal MINDSET?

      A1: It's there for your convinience. Simple rules that won't allow you to randomly screw up your attempt.

      Q2: Why no anchor?

      A2: It's there, hidden in the MINDSET.

      Q3: How do i turn off the MINDSET!?

      A3: MINDSET OFF! Don't do it during your attempt!

      Other questions? Ask me You'll most likely need to.

      Good Luck, Tucane

      tucanes guide there pretty much sums up what I do. But if that moment of heaviness you feel is sleep paralysis, then your in the dream once it goes away. you just thought you were awake haha. Next time it happens do a reality check ( nose plug works best for me ) to see if your in a dream. Its so life like you cant really tell otherwise without reality checking.

      i am very intrigued by this but could you elaborate more on it like do you think to your self over and over
      *I can't move during my attempt.
      * I can't think during my attempt.
      * I can't quit my attempt.
      or what and when you do that afterward you just attempt a WILD?

      thanks for the feedback

      (You do know that WILD is easier as WBTB, during nap or as DEILD? I don't recommend doing it in the evening as tibetian monks do, even if it's great practice of awareness.)

      Well, it seems as you got it. Actually it doesn't matter how you get the MINDSET to stick, as long as you make sure it does. It puts you in a state of mind that becomes accesible when you want to (Flick the switch ON/OFF). You should be able to feel the difference between this and your normal mindstate. Observe the fact that it's a state of mind. You'll have to BE it as you start falling asleep. Meaning you shouldn't repeat those during WILD unless you REALLY have to.

      I'll also answer the question you didn't ask, because you need the answer. Every WILD-attempt needs an anchor, whatever it may be.

      What's the anchor in LAW (Lazy-Ass WILD)?

      The one thing that anchors your awareness, is the FORCE OF WILL that keeps the MINDSET ON. The switch needs to stay ON or you'll risk losing awareness. When you fall asleep, your logic centre shuts down. The FORCE OF WILL is the glue that makes your MINDSET stick, when everything else shuts down.

      It may feel like you are a single point of awareness floating in space, while random images play out. There might be random thoughts flying by that aren't thought by the aware you. If this is the case, you're doing what you're supposed to. This is nothing but watching yourself lose everything that isn't you. Soon your awareness will be the only thing existing in your internal world, when this happens the dream will take shape... and you will enter it lucid.

      Food for thought, Tucane
