Weird question about my last WILD attempt

So, I tried WILD for the third or fourth time yesterday, with no success once again. I was just lying there in bed, motionless, when I feel the usual weird sensation in the limbs and everything; but after some time, my eyelids start to kinda voluntarily "shake" and I couldn't control them. After a while, my eyes start to open slowly and naturally, when I see a little occurrence of a yellow light in front of me, but there's no such LED in any of my Tv or dvd set or anything. So I get excited but don't know what to do and eventually let my eyes open naturally, thus ruining the whole process. p.s. I tried wild before a nap around 18:00 pm. What should I have done in this case? How can I know when I'm supposed to close my eyes or I am not supposed to open them at all? Thanks all.
