When you WILD you don't have to put all your awareness on one thing, that is what you will learn eventually though. |

Very good examples, MasterMind. Here are my considerations: |

Don't inhibit thoughts, on the contrary let them flow, it's part of falling asleep. Stopping them will get you nowhere. |

Science for the win.
3 Step Task
Fly [ ], Eat [ ], Advanced flying [ ]
And to nowhere is where I want. |

If my head is full of thoughts, I just let them play out, untill getting more sleepy. That's when I start to WILD by recalling a previous dream. It doesn't matter which one, the goal is to engage part of the brain that deals with dreams. This should help and should start seeing some dreams or scenarios evolving and your inner chatter getting more quiet. |
|
What I do is think: "One, I'm dreaming... two, I'm dreaming... three, I'm dreaming... etc. It keeps your mind focused on one thing without focusing on one thing. |
|
Progress: DILD: 100+, WILD: 1/2, WBTB WILD: 2
Goals: Achieve WILD, Be able to induce a WILD on command.

Wow that chicks hot, anyways i suggest not keeping ur mind blank but visualizing what u wanna dream about and forgetting ur real body until u are in a drwam ull get it just takes time the more times u try the more ull learn what works. |

If you notice you're letting your thoughts go off track a lot, you can use this as an advantage. Let your brain do its thing. Get as close to falling asleep as possible, but maintain consciousness. Check out Jeff777's Free-falling WILD technique. For some reason the hyperlink button isn't working, so here: http://www.dreamviews.com/f79/jeff77...hnique-116172/. |

The sailor does not control the sea, nor does the lucid dreamer control the dream. Like a sailor, lucid dreamers manipulate or direct themselves in the larger expanse of dreaming; however, they do not control it. Lucid dreaming appears to be a co-created experience. ~Robert Waggoner
