Lately, I've been really improving at my attempts for a WILD lucid dream. Just the other day, I succeeded on my first attempt and had the longest lucid dream yet!

I do need some advice though, since I've found there's two recurring problems in my WILD lucid dreams.

1. The dream characters I encounter tend to be nonsensical, spouting gibberish at me or unrelenting, trying to get me to interact with them. They keep following me as I try to explore, and I tend to find it hard to get away from them. It doesn't help that my dreams - lucid or not - tend to have a surreal, nightmarish quality to them. Anything I can do about this?

2. I find controlling my dreams quite difficult. I tried flying in my last WILD and, like most of my dreams, found it hard to even get off the ground. I also tried summoning someone I knew and they just wouldn't appear right on the spot (though a dream character did lead me to them!), while rubbing my hands, spinning around or yelling "CLARITY" doesn't really seem to help.

Is there anyway I can improve of these two?
