Thread: Transitioning from Half Dreams to Dreams

Hello everyone,

So I've been trying WILD a couple of times lately and have been focusing more on the falling asleep aspect rather than my usual focusing on sleep paralysis. I usually will pay a detached observation to the hypnagogic imagery during the time that I am falling asleep and I have noticed a trend. Every time I try the technique I will get to a point where I am completely immersed in the HI almost to the point of being in a dream; it is so vivid that I can usually read small text on various objects but I know it's not a dream, it has a different feeling than that of a dream. Sometimes I know that it's HI but other times I don't keep my concentration so well and forget that it's HI but that's besides the point. Although I am that immersed in the HI I can never transition from these half-dreams states into WILD. Does anyone have any tips?

Also by this point I usually can't feel my body at all.

At some point, these HH may change into a dream that you can enter. But sometimes you don't get HH and then you can enter WILD a different way.
