      Gasping for Breath

I was on a LD kick last summer and had taken an interest to WILD. It seemed to be the easiest for me to start lucid dreaming more regularly, if I could get the hang of it.

Now that I am back into it, I have been hesitant to try WILD again. Previously when I would try it, I would start to feel tingly vibrations in my hands and feet, and after some patience and several nights practice, I would consistently do this thing where I involuntarily gasp for breath. I would always focus on my breathing and I know I was breathing normally every time, but right after initial vibrations, I would always always always gasp for breath.

It was a sudden and violent occurrence. One that would jolt me awake and interrupt my LD attempt. I could never get past it. Every WILD attempt resulted in this, and then me deciding to just sleep.

Any thoughts or ideas? I'm gonna do some more research in the meantime. I just really think there's a lot of potential with this method that I'm missing out on! And I wrote this on my phone without grammar checking, so sorry if anything is wrong lol.

The gasping may not repeat again. Especially, if you not focusing or paying any attention to your breathing. Chose a different anchor, like a mantra, or counting. I would give it another try. WILD (sageous) Good luck.
