Vibrations into WILD, but then I'm super conscious and awake again!

One night, actually three in a row, I woke up in sleep paralysis and it totally freaked me out like most since I had no idea what was going on. Figures and the whole 9. After the second night I googled it and stumbled upon lucid dreaming. So glad I did! The third night it happened nothing scary was there since I knew what was taking place. I decided to get out of my body and it worked and I ended up flying around a world like Avatar for a while. So obviously, I decided to get really into this.

This was only 2 weeks ago and I'm having a problem with getting past the vibrating, whirlwind part of the WILD. I feel like every time I do, it lasts only a couple of seconds and then it's dead silent. According to all I've read, I should be in my dream, but I'm anything but. I'm super conscious and I can move (even though I only try a finger) Maybe I'm dreaming of moving my finger, but I really feel awake. Could I try opening my eyes? When it happened unwillingly before, the vibrating whirlwind happened the whole time I was trying to get out of my physical body and just like Luscidology anticipated, my dreams were very blurry and I was stumbling around after I got out.

Even after waking in the am, it takes me a very long time to get to the vibrating part of the WILD.

      Any suggestions? Thanks!

It could have been false awakening, have you done reality check that time? Also don't focus on your physical body, it's more likely to keep you awake, and remember that for WILD you just need to fall asleep while being aware, you don't really need to rely on sleep paralysis for this and SP can't be induced anyway.
I highly suggest checking out this indepth tutorial: WILD , and also check out this thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...ntry-wild.html

you won't necessarily feel vibrations every time you do a WILD. try to relax through any of the sensations you experience. there are a lot of different phenomena that can happen but you need to basically ignore it and relax through all of it. for me there have been several ways that i'm actually able to enter the dream from a WILD. sometimes like you describe, feeling like i've slipped out of my body, spinning, rolling, floating, flying out etc and eventually will touch down into the dream world. other times i'll have none of the "symptoms" i'll just suddenly see a dream landscape appear and i realize oh hey i'm here and go in that way. i can relate to the blurriness of vision too. one thing you might try is tell yourself now i can see perfectly and really believe it. that has caused me to snap into HD vision instantly. you can also try picking up an object like a rock and really get in close and examine all the details, feel the texture, the shape, and notice all the small details.
the main thing i want to emphasize though that i think will help you the most is don't get excited if you start experiencing vibrations, loud noises, people talking, etc etc. it'll get easier the more you do it. sounds like you are well on your way to many more experiences though! good luck
