Adapting to your environment, when you are WILDing.

      Hi Guys,
I have just started out the practice for LDing, but after reading all the techniques I was very much urged to try out WILD, so when I woke up at 6:05 AM yesterday, the sorrounding was rather not so quiet(i.e. In the House next to me, I could hear someone Dish washing very clearly, also a sound of a pressure cooker giving off the whistle regularly and an occasional sound of an automobile,) so after having struggled for some time, I thought that maybe I should visualize a dream which uses these auditory input I am receiving as elements in the Scene of the dream I am trying to create, so, I imagined me living in a single room in some 3 or 4th floor, I visualized the bulidings to be very nearby and TRIED to visualize these sounds to be the sounds coming from the neighboring buildings in my dream but ofcouse, I failed eventually because it was too difficult to translate the IWL Noise into a artifact inside a dream, but I would like to hear your opinions, Have you tried this before? If so, what are the advises you can give me?

It can be better to not focus on them at all, since they are too random, if you have ear muffs/headphones maybe use them instead, white noise sources can help too, or you can just ignore those sounds entirely. Remember that for WILD you need to fall asleep while being aware of falling asleep, focusing on senses IWL most of time makes it harder to fall asleep.
