So I usually have sleep paralysis about two times a week, and I started getting them like two months ago. And the second week in I had my first successful WILD, and I'll tell you how I transitioned to it. I just though of a setting (A forest) very hard, and my chest felt like sinking into my bed, and then about five seconds after that feeling I decide to open my eyes, and when I did I was in my dream. And now the problem is that it seems that everytime I open my eyes when my chest feels like its sinking, I just find myself in my room again fully awake and not dreaming. So I would like to know how I can be able to do better at it, and how do you transition to doing wilds with sleep paralysis?? I dont know what Im doing wrong so I would like to figure out my flaws. And also what kind of setting do you think of when you go into it? Just curious. |

My suggestion is: don't open your eyes. When i had my successful WILD i did not have to open my eyes. Even with my eyes closed, i could see imagery forming in front of me. When i least expected, i was inside a dream with my "dream eyes" open. |

When you "awaken" in your room when opening your eyes, why can't that be an OBE/false awakening? I would recommend doing a few reality checks when that happens to you, as you never know what is real and what isn't. |
