      First WILD Success

      Hey guys!

I'm very much a newbie to the concept of Lucid Dreaming, and still have yet to attain lucidity in a normal overnight dream. However, upon learning about WILDs my curiosity was peaked and I decided to give them a try. Today I successfully WILDed for the first time (it was my fourth attempt), as a result of mid-day meditation. I ended up stepping out of my body and into my dream and I was even able to make progress on dream flight! From what I've read though, WILDing is much harder to do than normal LDing, so I was wondering if this was any indication of a natural inclination for the art of LDing itself. I don't think I'm special or anything, it just seems out of place from what I've read to succeed in a WILD attempt barely a week of even reading the words "lucid dream". Is this as uncommon as I think, or is it normal?

      Thanks! ^.^

Hi Amunae! I personally don't think it's uncommon at all! I just think that some people are more prone to having a successful Lucid Dream more than others! Not uncommon at all! 'Tis a gift my friend! Use it and unlock what lies within your dreams!

Welcome to the World of Lucid Dreamers!

And no, I don't believe WILD is harden than other methods. It only becomes harder, when someone who is just starting out, doesn't learn the basics, and believes that all there is to WILDing is "just lay down and enter a dream".

When there is lot more to it. Like mental preparation, which is mostly taught while learning to DILD.

One aut ot of 4 attempts is a great success. The only way to find out which method is better for you, is to try it out again. Btw, there is no need to chose. You can practice all methods at the same time.

Here is our best, very detailed and well explained WILD by sageous
and here is our basic WILD and DILD, plus other methods Induction Methods and Techniques

Congrats on your WILD. Good job. Subsequent ones should be easier, since now you know that you can, and how to. Good luck and happy travels

Btw, if you don't mind, I would love to hear your meditation method, that got you this WILD.

Hey Amunae, congrats on your WILD. I don't think you should say, "I'm nothing special", not many people can wild, so that makes you special!
I'm jealous! I've been trying but can't quite get there.... Yet.
Now that you know you can do it, you're much more likely to spontaneously LD in your sleep.
