My second LD/was it a WILD or a DILD?

      Hey everyone,

I had a lucid dream about 3 or 4 months ago which was very basic I flew around for what seemed like a couple minutes not controlling it that well but I got this amazing vibrating feeling all over my body which seemed like was still there briefly when I woke up. Ever since then I have been trying to induce another lucid dream by trying all the tutorials I could find on youtube and stuff but had no success and I kinda stopped trying WILDs by waking up early and trying to make dreamlets and all that..

But last night I woke up to go to the bathroom(which I don't usually do) and when I went back to bed I fell asleep and then I was a dreaming about being in this apartment in an old area I lived in. I went to the bathroom and I was standing there doing my thing but I couldn't manage to get it going.
Then I remember thinking that I just went to the bathroom and I did it well.. Then BAM i was fully conscious and started walking around my dream and it was like I was awake. So
I walked out to the back yard and felt cold so I tried to warm myself up by thinking about it but I couldn't.. I'll cut all the minor details out to spare you guys because you probably Have heard everyone's dreams but I started flying around and tried to speak to a friend of mine that I saw and was telling them that I am lucid dreaming and I think I was too excited because everything started going blurry and then faded to black.. Then I woke up in my bed and wrote the whole dream down. It was the most incredible thing ever.

Is this a wild or a dild dream?
What do you think helped me gain lucidity this time?
What things should i do besides look at my hands to keep the dream going?

      Thanks

That would be a DILD, since you went to sleep normally and eventually got lucid. I think remembering that you already went to the bathroom in waking life triggered lucidity for you.

      Yup, t'was a DILD.

I think you were still a bit aware from your WBTB. That's what we call when we wake up and then go back to bed. Normally we stay up for some time, but for some, even brief awakenings can trigger lucidity. Congrats!
