After that, are the methods your using to maintain your awareness really the rights ones? By that I mean, are they the ones you've found effective that work the most efficiently and well for you? Remember that there are countless different techniques that people share, and many even come up with some themselves.

Also, were you actively trying to move physically? You mentioned that briefly. That has a bit of potential to mess up the WILD.

Lastly, and at least partially the reason why you didn't succeed was because you were impatient. You gave up, [wo]man. Everyone needs a different amount of time to drift into their dream and go through all the stages. It can take up to an hour to finally transition into the dream with WILD! Perhaps you were on the right track, but you let your frustrations get to you, you let yourself lose sight of the goal, and you consequently drifted off into regular sleep.

The WILD method is tricky. Some people get it on their first shot, some might have to wait many months before they're able to pull it off. For me, it took me about 3 weeks to finally get down. You just need to pick up and get going on the next shot. You have try again, and again, and again... You get the point.

Thanks for answer!
About the sleep cycles - how can I know when is the best time to wake up?

And no, I wasn't moving. I started to move only when nothing was happening (after long time). When I'm falling asleep I just feel that my body is becoming heavy, like sinking in bed, I dunno how to describe it.

When I tried WILD for the first time, I did it while taking afternoon nap, hypnagogic state started very quickly (about 10min) and I reached lucid dream with the same ''I'm dreaming'' phrase, so maybe I really became impatient because this time it took almost an hour and nothing.
