I recently tried the WILD method after waking up early and then going back to sleep. As I started falling back asleep, I felt a strong tingle sensation trough out my body, than my body became numb and I had a loud whirring, mechanic type noise with a ring to it in my ears. I couldn't move anything and I remember hearing my dogs and I was definitely conscious. I did feel like I was floating up which was soooo cool lol. then, I remember I started losing consciousness and the whirring stopped, but I regained consciousness and I heard the whirring again. I'm pretty sure this was sleep paralysis, but I have doubts as I DID NOT hallucinate or see anything at all. I think that could be because I had my eyes closed, or I wasn't scared. I've had sp twice, and I was not scared either one. I knew exactly what it was and I actually enjoyed the experience. could that be the reason I didn't hallucinate? also, during the sp I tried visualizing a dream scene so I can lucid dream, but I just couldn't. anything I visualized wasn't vivid. it was like imagining something, that's how un vivid it was. I eventually woke up from the sleep paralysis.
three questions I would like answered please . did I experience sleep paralysis? why didn't I hallucinate? and how do I turn a sleep paralysis into a lucid dream/how do I avoid sleep paralysis during WILD.
thanks so much! I hope to have a lucid dream, they sound amazing
