Strong urge to move while attempting to WILD?

Every time i try to WILD, after about 2 minuets I have a VERY strong urge to move. The closest i can compare it to is when you feel the urge to pop a joint. It is normally in my toes or feet, sometimes in my fingers. Is this normal? will it just go away if i ignore it, or do i need to do it as part of the process?

This is quite normal to experience while wilding so don't worry, its just your body testing to see if your mind is asleep. If you don't move you should be enjoying a lucid dream very quickly.

      ^Probably

Yeah. When you stay still for so long, your body needs to know if you are sleeping so it can prompt SP. If you don't respond to it, you enter SP, which is exactly what you want to WILD.

It's like your body saying, "Excuse me, Im a little uncomfortable, could you move?" But you just gotta ignore it.

ok, now it is just stopping the progression of numbness. It gets to my hands and up to my elbows, but then it just stopped. i counted 20 more numbers before it was starting to seem pointless. when i moved it was hard to do though, i thought i was iun SP but i didnt see any images, and it was only arms and legs. Alos, is this something i will get better at over time(will it become faster)? because it is actualy realy FUN.

Thanks for the replies. i have already learned alot from the site, and if it werent for these forums i probably would have gotten frustrated and quit

Staying still even for very long periods of time has rarely if ever worked for me. I think people just repeat this because it's the "sleep signals" theory posed in the lucidology videos. You have to be deeply relaxed which is hard to do for some people in one position. There is more to it than just not moving I believe.
