      Question About WILD

I'm not really sure if this is in the right place. If it isn't, mods please move it.. I've had eight or so LDs in my two and a half months of practicing. None of them WILD except one. However, I feel as though I could have many more if I could pass this roadblock..

I can get very far into WILD. I begin hearing voices(sometimes creepy haha) or feeling as if I'm falling or spinning. I always wake myself up by swallowing. I can make it to this step every single time I try to WILD, but I always wake myself up by swallowing.

The only information people give me on it is to "just do it." But that never works. Just doing it wakes me up, and fighting it eventually fails and I swallow anyway. Any ideas are helpful..

Try sleeping with more pillows or with a thicker pillow. From what I've heard, propping your head up enough helps, probably because it makes most of your saliva go down your throat instead of accumulating in your mouth.
"Going through life worrying about the little things is like cooking with motor oil instead of cooking oil. Sure, you can still probably pull it off, but it'll leave a bad taste in your mouth in retrospect." - Me, apparently

It's actually funny that the night I finally make a thread, I accidentally did exactly what you suggested before reading it. It worked well, for anyone with the same issue. I managed to sleep with my head on the edge of a couch and that's what fixed that for me. I'd imagine like spellbee2 said, a few pillows would do the trick.. Thanks!
