      Wake Initiated Lucid Dream problem

How should I put my mind into sleep mode ? I dont have problem with body but I cant turn off my mind. When I try to focus on something like pictures I always feel vibrations but it stops after 10 sec and repeat after 3-10 minutes. I have a dream journal and I had lucid dream once.
And when should I try WILD whats better night / day ?

You put your mind into sleep mode same way as when you are going to sleep normally. At first your mind will be racing trying to sort out everything that happened to you that day. But as you get closer to falling asleep, it will slow down.

When you WILD, you can use mantra to slow down other thoughts by replacing them with one single thought. This should be something LDing related. maybe your lucid goal or something that will remind you what are you doing when you get closer to falling asleep or in a dream and your mind will get more fuzzy.

My main mantra is "I am dreaming". But I add to it often or I change it depending on what I want to focus on.

You can try WILDing either at night or during a morning nap. But always after at least 4-5 hrs of sleep. I recommend more, like 7-8 hrs. But if you never hade a LD or had just one, I would recommend you focus on DILDs and learn all about them before you start with WILDs.

Ofc you can try going for a WILD as well, but make sure you study up on DILDs first and read some good WILD tutorials.

Also, when you feel vibrations, you could be close to being in a dream or already be in one. Try some motionless RCs.
