      Question Trouble with WILD(please help)

Hi. I've been attempting WILD for the past few days, but every time I try it I end up unable to fall asleep. I can lay there for hours at a time, but that's it, I just lay there. I can't even get to sleep paralysis. What could be the cause of this? Every time I've attempted it(at least seven times) I've failed. I've already had two lucid dreams, but that was before I started trying to WILD. Please help me, I really want to get back to being lucid...

Your mind is what's keeping you awake. What's everything that you're thinking about during your WILD attempt?

I focus on my mantra, "Mind awake, body asleep." it works when I MILD...

Try something different! How about counting? Also you don't need to enter sleep paralysis to be able to induce lucid dreams, it has nothing to do with lucid dreaming.

I second JoshMcNaught on how you don't need to enter sleep paralysis.

I recommend changing your mantra to "Mind aware, body asleep" You're trying to stay aware, not awake.

That's good you're only focusing in your mantra. Only pay attention to the present.

Sure LUCID DREAMS are all fun and games until someone loses a third eye.
