Cool Just my rambling about WILD tutorials

I'm in something like a dry period for the last couple of months, so I read over 100 tutorials all over the internet in order to gain more knowledge about WILD proccess. Although more of the tutorials are similars, they are some simple mistakes in some of them. About "Sleep paralysis", "must stay very still concept", "waiting for strange sensations to occur" and others. In last months I try a lot of things, like counting backward and forward, different kinds of mantra, just staying still and wait the dream to begin, but everything fail. Most of the time I was lying on the bed keeping my focus and try fall asleep without success, just my muscles was going numb.

Then I decided to return to my roots, so I look up in my old dream journal and saw a tip for myself "listen to the voices before falling asleep" from the time I was still able to sleep on my side(less back pain). That thought reminded me of tips in some of the tutorials, like "Focus your attention to your breath in and out" or "Focus your attention behind your eyelids" or "Bring your attention to the static noise in your ears". So I started to wonder what is the common behind them, something primal. So I try them while awake with the mind of sleeping to analyze them.
1)When breathing in and out I focus my intention at nose little above my eyes where I feel the air moving.
2)When focus on the dark of my eyes, I bring my awareness just behind my eyes.
3)When focus to the static noise in my ears, I bring my attention in the middle zone of my ears.

So what is in that region, maybe something important. After a while I got one of these "flashing lamp idea" moments So I just search for a diagram of chakras location and BAM what you know, there was the answear. The Third Eye chakra - mean "Awareness", so these methods indirectly are stimulating your mind eye or your pineal gland without knowing. So with this knowledge I try to WILD and bring all my awareness to my "mind eye" and in less than five minutes I was in the dream land, no SP, no strange sensations, just a swift transition from wake state to the dream state.

And about counting and mantras, their real purpose is not to focus on them while transitioning, but rather to keep the focus uninterrupted by random thoughts and sensations on your "mind eye". So the Third Eye chakra is like a gateway to the Dreamland.

And with this knowledge I'm starting to formulate new theories, but they will be subject of another thread.

      that is a good ramble
      I enjoy rambles

It reminded me of the best ... HUMMM .... not lucid dream but much more.

I was 35 (I am 59 now) I had been using a technique called "Dynamizing your Will" (I dont remember the technique now)

Then one sunny day I lay down on the floor on a thin mattress. And for know apparent reason I began imagining
a rat running up a pole (as I breathed in)
then the rat stayed still near the top
(while I held my breath a second or two)
      Then the rat, comically,
slid down in a little spiral as I breathed out.
      I kept repeating this.

Come to think of it GordanFreeman
I think Imagining happens in that third eye space.

Any way I had the best Astral travel.
I almost got all the wasy back home.
Henceforth I will get into mt tird eye space see if I can get thst very sharp astral travel experience, again.

What I've noticed personally is that focusing my attention to this area seems to relax my eyes more, as well as relax all the muscles in my head and face more. Personally I think this has more to do with things than anything else. I typically don't notice at all how tense my neck, forehead, jaw, and even eye muscles are, but they are quite easy to have held up tense without even realizing it. Focusing on this area, as I said, I notice allows all of these tense muscles to relax without much effort or care to remain relaxed/not re-tensing up.
