      Question How do you dissociate?

So I can get to the point where my entire body is really numb and then even go beyond that where it feels really weird and extremely close to a dream, during that stage I can do some stuff like stretch out my body even tho nothing is actually moving and some hypnogia happens although it comes and goes (any tips on remaining that too would be helpfull). But I cant seem to actually enter a dream and dissociate from my body.

How would you recommend doing that, does it maybe just require more practise and how do you do it?

      Thanks in advantage.

It may require some practice. Imagine that your body is inside another immobile body and that you are able to phase your body through the immobile body. As far as what movement to make when phasing the body through the immobile body, I find that rolling out is convenient because it doesn't require additional acts of dream control like floating or sinking.

Alternatively, hypnagogia and weird bodily sensations can be used as a signs to do a reality check. A motionless reality check would be best, but doing a nose-plug would not hurt much. If the reality check indicates we're dreaming, we can simply get up from bed to enter the dream.

Try to make something happen that could only happen if you were dreaming by imagining it rather than using your muscles. For example, imagine your body or bed moving in some way or imagine a dream scene appearing.

How I disassociate is simple, you just loose focus on everything, it sounds hard, but it's really not, it's like developing an 1000 yard stare, but also you're just allowing the moment to happen, without judgement and thought and allowing yourself to be behind the mind, and body,

When you disassociate your consciousness is still always open to feeling something, it's just not in the ways of physical movement (Comparing mental/dream body movement to physical movement, there is a huge difference in feeling, unless you're a sleep walker or something lol)
