      Looking for FILD explanations.

I don't understand. It seems to be a DEILD with the movement of fingers. But then I have been able to become lucid EVERY morning I have tried this. It seems every time I move my fingers I get more and more into the dream like state asap, while in my DEILD it takes me a while to get back into the dream with only a chance of success. It just amazes me. How does the "finger movement" help throw me in the dream state?

I read something explaining that sometime ago. The movement of the fingers keep you conscious just enough for you to go into dream state. You don't notice it happening because you have your full focus on your fingers and your brain goes into dream state. I'm not sure if that's correct, though, but that's how I see it.

You are lucky! Have you tuned it somehow to make it work every time?

ZenVortex wrote in FILD thread that FILD may work due to cerebellum which IRL controls all movement, and then change it function when on fall asleep. But as for throwing to dream state.. In my case, it prevents me, and still not completely figured why: maybe I am too much mentally focused on moving fingers, or just not patient enough..

Ah, thanks guys. I finally found my way to become lucid every morning! To bad the dreams are short, I have to chain them a lot.
