The unusual part of this WILD was that I never felt like I left my body. Like I imagined my bed spinning like a windmill and it just gradually became real. But a climactic moment during that would be jumping out of my spinning bed into my room. I chose to jump like I controlled when I entered the dreamworld outside of my bed.

Same here. I experience a small series of hypnagogic hallucinations and when things settle down I just know I'm in the dream.
