Have you read Adam's WILD tutorial? |

My only WILD experiences were 2 1 minute WILDs in a row. How I did it: I woke up for a little bit during the night. Then, I imagined my bed was spinning like a windmill. It gradually felt more real and then I leaped out of my bed and was in my room, but it felt blurry so I knew it was a dream. I then ran around my house for like a minute before waking up. Then, I tried this again and it worked again! and my dream was just the same running around the house for a minute before waking up. I was just so in awe of WILDing that I just wanted to take in the dream scenery and not really do any dream control. I did talk to my dream character parents a bit and tell them how excited I was. My third try at WILDing didn't work. I was too excited and eager to write my experience down. |

Cool! I've started trying to WILD again for about a week now. How does it feel when you hop up out of your body and are in a dream? |
|
So Adam sinks and I spin, cool. I think I'll try WBTB as mentioned in that tutorial to WILD in the future. Thanks! |

The unusual part of this WILD was that I never felt like I left my body. Like I imagined my bed spinning like a windmill and it just gradually became real. But a climactic moment during that would be jumping out of my spinning bed into my room. I chose to jump like I controlled when I entered the dreamworld outside of my bed. |

Yeah, WBTB is critical for a successful WILD. Trying to WILD without sleeping for a few hours first is almost impossible. Time your WBTB for how tired you are. Like you already mentioned, you want to be tired enough to fall back to sleep easily, but still be able to concentrate. Gauge how you feel when you wake up in the middle of the night. |
