congrats on your first WILD.. I got to the point the other night where the dreams started to form around me but there was no color or audio or anything.. the only trouble I am having is getting to the point of "Pulling" myself into the dream |

Last night I had my 2 year old niece sleeping in my bed with me as I was babysitting her. Needless to say she woke me up a few times during the night. One of these times I decided that since I was awake but still sleepy and about to fall back to sleep that I would try a WILD. I have never had a lucid dream before, and my last attempt at a WILD kind of scared me. So as I felt myself drift off I focused on my niece's breathing. Then an image of myself started to appear, and it was a little weird but I went with it. All of a sudden I was the image, and I totally knew I was dreaming! I went with the dream, and it involved being around a table with a group of people talking about me. I eventually got bored of this and decided I wanted to try some control. I wanted this guy to appear, and so as I walked out of the room I pictured him on the other side of the door. when I opened it, he was there! I guess I got excited because I then woke up. However I was so excited I wanted to try again. So I drifted off to sleep again, in a different setting but the topic of the previous dream was still relevant, and I was still lucid. Again, I went with the dream, and then decided to try some things. Basically I planned out in my head a scenario that I wanted to happen, then it did happen. Is this how others control dreams? It worked very well for me until I could suddenly feel my niece's body pressing next to mine, and felt myself coming out of the dream. So I suddenly remembered the technique of rubbing your hands together, and it worked! At this point I was underwater breathing comfortably |

"..it's bad anough that you sell your waking life for minimum wage but no they get your dreams for free."
Yeh I was so excited because I thought it would be really hard to do but it just sort of happened very easily, I guess I'm just lucky |
