What's the best way to abort a WILD attempt?

If you decide to come out of one how should you do so? It's strange that I've read lots about WILD and in the middle of an attempt I suddenly realised I didn't know how to come out of one early! I opted to move my fingers a little and gradually move body parts a little, one by one until I could feel my body again and then opened my eyes very slowly. That's more or less what I've learned as the best way to end meditation early. Is that a good way?

Damn, if you got that far you might as well try and get to the dream, lol. But I heard if you wanna get out of SP, you should try to breathe real deeply, and that should get you out.
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.

That was extraordinary, I must say. I'm trying hard not to look like an over-excited, overenthusiastic newbie here but...I've got to ask, "Was I doing it right?"

I was meditating for a while, and got the images and sounds gently popping into my head that I'm used to from years of meditating. I concentrated totally (but not aggressively) on my mantra when suddenly there was a great "whumph!" (good terminology, huh?) and my vision changed, and my hearing changed and I felt a kind of gentle "whooshing" round my ears and my body felt like it had instantly shifted into another vaguer position. And my stomach felt like it was a giant marquee and my hands were sinking deeper and deeper like there was no way they could stop going deeper and deeper and they were getting more and more 'tingly'.

I don't know what the hell that was, if it fits the definition 'WILDing' but I'm sure as hell gonna be doing that every day from now on!

Generally, I try to concentrate very hard on my "real" physical body, as if I've awaken. It works fine most of the time. Howerver, when you're well anchored in a vivid lucid dream, it takes a little extra effort to get out of it.
