Congrats, but I wouldn't try it personally because I'm not a big fan of mixin' meds. |

Ok so whenever i want to get a REALLY good nights sleep I take an antihistimine because the things make me really drowsy and tired. But this week i didn't have any in the house but i looked on the back of this night time cold and flu medicine i had and it said it had antihistimine in it. Anyway I took that and a melatonin and had a great nights sleep and then the next night, and the next (don't judge me ) anyways the second night and the third and continuing for the next 8 days i had a WILD or achieved SP on 6 different days. I was totally in awe cause i didn't understand what was happening. Then i talked with a friend who LOVES bio/chem and he said that one of the chemicals in the flu meds was probably combining with the melatonin and causing a deficit and keeping me below REM sleep. Then i thought what if i was "forcing" REM rebound and that's why i was WILDing so much easier. and i mean really easy. It was like i didn't even have to try that hard, and 20 min after i got up for a wbtb and went back to sleep i was WILDing. Im gonna let it go for a couple days now cause if i am messing with my REM sleep i don't wanna push my luck to long, but it makes for a great confidence booster |

Like they said, i wouldn't do this too much, who knows what could happen after long term exposure to that mixture. Unless of course your intent is to test what would happen, in that case glhf. |

Spoiler for Lucidity Secrets:
don't take any drugs to induce lucid dreaming. They might work, but they can screw you up also. You just have to develop the skill to have a true lucid dream. |
|
mmm to dangerous for trying. |
|
Have you tried just taking antihystimine? |

Our dreams are firsthand creations, rather than residues of waking life. We have the capacity for infinite creativity.
hi, I wouldn't try this unless I was sick and taking the medicine for that purpose. However, as I am and have been sick this weekend I think I will try this tonight! =D thks for the idea! |

So i definitely wasn't expecting to have so many people reply to this thread but thanks for that. anyways with SO MANY people saying they wouldn't do this cause of possible health consiquences i actually went into see my doctor and ask about using meds like this. Sadly she said that without going to see a neurologist she couldn't be 100% sure but she said that these two drugs wouldn't react together...funny telling my friend that part . She said if anything the flu med probably has something added to it that acts like a sedative and that's why I had such an easy time falling back to sleep. As far as the WILDing goes Im still having like at least 2 a week without the meds. I figured out that what was really going on was i FINALLY FFFFIIIINNNNNAAAAAAALLLLYYYYY found a really good anchor for me while falling asleep. So i guess the whole medicine thing was just a coincidence. Thank you to billy bob or i wouldn't have even known what an anchor was. |
