      a few W.I.L.D questions

hi there ive recently been trying to have more lucid dreams again like when i was younger

ive started to recall about 2-5 dreams per night on average and on a couple ive had about 15-20

the last week or so ive had 2dreams where ive been aware i was dreaming i went to do the hand rubbing method to feel the warmth texture and so on... guess what my mind made it so i had gloves on !! and i couldnt feel it lol was so strange ...anyway as this keeps happning id like to try a W.I.L.D

i have tried a few times and am sure ive done it as a child more than once !

      my questions are

      1. if a wild is a wake induced lucid dream then the dream is suppose to start when ive gotten sp how long do they last ??

      2. if you wild can u dream for say 4-5 hours a night instead of the average 1 and a half ??

      3. what would you say is the best thoughts to be having ?? like places, people, driving ect ect ???

4.lately i seem to have alot of sucess to remeber dreams and obtain some lucidity from a wbtb ..id asume a wild would be easier to do if you have been asleep a few hours then wake up for the loo or a drink then try ??

any feedback will be much appreciated thank you !!!

Well. I'm trying to WILD too. I haven't had one yet, but I have gotten LOADS of info on it.

      1. SP is supposed to last about two minutes. After you feel it is over, then you get out of bed and have fun. It seems complicated, but really, when you're in SP, you're crossing the line of awake, and asleep, without knowing.

      2. Well, you're supposed to get 4-5 hours of sleep first. Then you WBTB. If you sleep on average, 10 hours a day. I don't know the answer to this question, sorry.

      3. You should be thinking "I am dreaming. I am dreaming." this is what people have told me, if I am wrong, please correct me.

      4. Yes. People do say it is much easier, and that a small percentage of WILDers can do this without WBTB.

      Hope I helped!

thanks for the reply !! ill try what you said

on my first question what i mean is... they say when u sleep u dont dream for the first couple of hours.. but if your do a WILD surely it should start a few mins after sp has set in ?? and could u possibly keep dreaming all night ??

and this is what id like to acheive really is a WILD when i can just say go to bed at 12pm and be in a nice lucid dream in say an hour after .. as i tend to only dream most when i WBTB

      2) When you dream with a WILD, it is usually more vivid and you know you're dreaming when you enter (usually). However it is not 4-5 hours long, but less than an hour (long dreams are 30 minutes, although WILDs may be different). The numbers quoted are numbers to do with the sleep cycle and WBTB:

      • Most people WBTB 4-5 hours after falling asleep
      • Your first REM is 1 1/2 hours after you fall asleep.

Some people 'catch' the moment of waking from a LD and chain it with a DELID (wild where you enter a dream after exiting).

With the rubber glove thing, you may want to try dream spinning or try this tutorial:

      http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=94752

You're problbly expecting that gloves will come up when you rub hands. Try this:

Before rubbing your hands, look at the gloves and take them off. Immeadatly afterwards, rub your hands.

Tell yourself the gloves are extra-sensistive and rub your hands.

      If that dosen't work, dream-spin.
