      WILD almost attempt

Last Night I spent about 45 mins trying to induce a WILD. I have never had a lucid dream before but I have attempted WILD's before. This time was different I was able to keep still and felt my body falling asleep bit by bit, I'm pretty confident I would have drifted off. But the only problem was i could not breathe. I was laying on my stomach and had to yawn frequently about 40 mins into it because I wasn't getting enough air. I had to change my position and noticed my limbs were very heavy and I was lethargic in my movement. Can anyone confirm I'm on the right track?

It sounds like you made progress, but I must ask a question. Are you attempting to WILD when first falling asleep (without a WBTB)? If so, it can be extremely difficult to WILD, as it can take a very long time, hence the 45mins. I have only succeeded one time in this fashion out of my 35 successful (recorded) WILDs. I highly, highly suggest you use WBTB along with your WILD attempt. Sleep normally for 4-6 hours first, set an alarm to wake yourself up, remain awake for 10-20 minutes, then attempt your WILD. You are nearly 99% more likely to succeed this way! Good Luck in your future attempts!
