You don't necessarily have to lay on your back. Lie in a comfortable sleeping position. Lie completely still and let your mind wonder. Think about anything and everything. Don't focus too much on your thoughts, just passively let them pass in and out of your mind. Make sure you stay aware during this. Soon enough your thoughts will start to form images and pictures in your "mind's eye." This is called HI (hypnagogic imagery). Once this happens SP shall set in. Just passively watch the HI and relax. Remain as calm as possible and your dream scene should begin to form around. Good Luck! |
