(WILD) how do you wake up the mind but not the body

      hello all

i was just wondering about how to wake up properly for a WILD. for the past couple of attempts iv gotten up, turned of my alarm, gotten into bed and within 30 seconds fallen asleep

i am curious about how can you wake up the mind but not the body, because the more i wake up my body (eg cold shower, exercise, a REALLY bright light) the longer it takes to relax it, resulting in the wild being harder.

i was thinking about reading, does that work, or maybe viewing these forums (bright light of computer screen cant be good though)

      any ideas, thanks chaps

both times i've wilded, i just played ps3 or browsed the internet. i do this for a few hours or so. homework sometimes help. i sometimes forget im going to wild later. then once doing these activities, the second i think in my mind "im pretty tired, i should go lay down" is when it should happen. idk about anyone else but staying up for 30 minutes or less i feel too wide awake still, or on the contrary, not awake enough. but i've only wilded twice so im still rather new to it, but that's just what worked for me.
      DILD: 5
WILD: 3 - (Longest one was 10 minutes, and extremely chaotic. I DESTROYED EVERYTHING.)

Mission: DILDs are still awesome [ x ] Walk on water [ ] Visit the Resident Evil mansion [ ] Visit Silent Hill [ ] Have an insightful convo with a DC

After you've awoke, stay up for 10-20 minutes before lying down to WILD. Remember, you want to fall asleep while WILDing. You just want to fall asleep consciously. Just be aware of your environment while WILDing. Once you lay down and close your eyes, remain calm and relaxed. The next step is to stay aware as you fall asleep. The key here is to find what works best for you. I like to just let my mind wonder and passively observe the darkness. After laying for a while, I notice my thoughts are now becoming visions. Once they start becoming visions and SP sets in, I passively watch these visions/thoughts. Some people do counting/mantras/whatnot to stay aware while falling asleep for a WILD attempt. I suggest reading thoroughly threw some of the WILD tutorials and see what works best for you. Good Luck!
