Post First WILD! ... I think

Hey guys, after a few weeks of being ill knowing I wouldn't be able to WILD I finally got better and gave it another try. And it was a success!

I just lay there for a while but I think I moved position a couple times and unknowingly did yoshi's technique.

I had very vivid but nearly no HI and no audio or SP just a bit of a numbness, itches and twitches. The transition for me seemed like I was falling asleep whereupon I was dreaming and was aware that I was dreaming.

However, while it did seem a bit real (I had to look at the sky which was a bit blurry and weird untill it changed twice before my eyes) it still wasn't what I thought it would be like (completely real) a decent part of it was mixed with how dreams are and I didn't have as much thought as I should have.

I was still kind of aware of my body the whole time and when I tried spinning, I moved my arm in real life, I was afraid I would talk in my sleep too.

The dream seemed to be normal dream size which I thought didn't happen in lucids, and if I woke up and stayed really still I could get back into the dream in a matter of seconds.

Now some of this seems like WILD and other parts a DILD but no sudden realisation that I was dreaming, if you guys could input some of your wisdom, it would be much appreciated.

It sounds to me like a near successful WILD. All that instability and changing scenes sound alot like HI. You may not have completely finished your transition to the dream state. Try to wait it out a bit longer next time and see if a more stabile dream scene forms around you.

If you had fully transitioned and were walking around/within the dream and it was still very unstabile/fuzzy/etc. You can try some stabilization techniques found here: http://dreamviews.com/community/showthread.php?t=70131

      Good Luck to you!

I was asleep during it though for like 2 hours so I'm pretty sure the transition would of finished or whatever by then but maybe it was. I'll try to WILD again and see if the same thing appears.

Well, I'm pretty sure now that it was a DILD but I found out instantly and then I did DEILD

Something similar happened this summer, although I got a bit excited and lost control. I didn't succeed in the WILD (I have yet to do so... this is harder than getting a hat in TF2. If you don't know about what I mean, look it up.), but that was the first time I successfully paralyzed my body and experienced HI (like the room spinning.) About halfway (or what seemed as halfway) I got overexcited and regained control, the HI went away and I was back awake.
